The OstLicht Photo Auctions, which take place every spring and autumn, quickly assumed a central role in the German-speaking auction market. Early prints from the 19th century are auctioned off, as are icons of the 20th century and contemporary photography. Great personalities in front of and behind the camera and significant moments in contemporary history characterise the offer. With their broad spectrum, the photo auctions show that no other medium has shaped our image of the world over the last century and a half as much as photography. Photo books are also taken into account in our auctions with a selected offer.
