Included are well-known motifs, such as the portrait of Picasso in front of the castle with a rainbow stretching over it (1959) or him sitting there in his spacious studio (1972), or the photograph entitled “Chief Picasso, in Blackfoot Indian War Feathers” (1959). Picasso and his last wife Jacqueline are buried in the grounds of the castle.
