"Second version High Speed F camera for 9fps (with pellicle mirror) and special F36 motor drive no.159074 - only about 36 of these cameras were produced for Olympics 1976. The camera comes in very fine, original and working condition (battery pack is missing), with the fast first version Nikkor-S 1.2/55mm no.972214. Tamotsu Futamura (1941-2011) was a Japanese photographer renowned for his poetic vision of motorsport. Born in Yokohama, he began his career in 1960 as a press photographer, soon turning to international motor racing. From the late 1960s through the 1970s, he travelled worldwide to cover the World Rally Championship, Formula One, and major endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Living in Tokyo, Vienna and Monaco, he developed a cosmopolitan career and worked for the automotive industry, producing advertising films, posters, and calendars for brands including Subaru, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Pirelli, Yokohama, Kenwood, and Clarion.
