In Mühls Aktion Funebre wirkte Dieter Haupt mit, neben Ziemi Schieb, deren Rückenansicht in einer farbigen Mittelformataufnahme von Hoffenreich erscheint. Zwischen Haupts Zehen steckt eine Puppe, über die Otto Muehl eine Tube Tomatenmark ausdrückt. Im weiteren Verlauf der Aktion werden die Körper der beiden Akteure mit Unmengen Farbe, Seilen, Bandagen und anderen Materialien in einer Art Schrein aufgebahrt, dessen Rückwand im Hintergrund sichtbar ist. Für den eindrucksvoll großformatigen, vom Künstler signierten Cibachromeprint wurde Hoffenreichs Negativ seitenverkehrt abgezogen, wie die typischen Hasselblad-Marken am rechten Bildrand zeigen. Dieter Haupt took part in Muehl’s 1966 action Funebre, alongside Ziemi Schieb, whose back view appears on the colour medium-format photograph by Hoffenreich. A doll is stuck between Haupt’s toes, over which Otto Muehl is squeezing a tube of tomato paste. As the action progresses, the bodies of the two actors are covered with vast amounts of paint, ropes, bandages and other materials and laid out in a kind of shrine, the back wall of which is visible in the background. For the impressively large-format Cibachrome print signed by the artist, Hoffenreich’s negative was printed laterally reversed, as the typical Hasselblad marks on the right edge of the picture indicate.
