Vintage gelatin silver print, 35.4 x 28.4 cm, in very good condition. Photographer's "Weegee the famous" credit stamp and agency caption clip with detailed text on the reverse.
The 1932 kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby left a lasting trauma on an entire generation of parents; this "Crime of the Century" continued to resonate in New York newspapers well into the 1940s.
