Prototype Summaron (formula B280) with typical serial number '0000058' engraved on rear, front ring with different engraving style to the production run. According to Paul-Henry van Hasbroeck, Leitz reserved the serial numbers 0000058-0000069 for these prototype lenses, but only about 5 lenses were really finished. The offered lens is the first of this number range and is mint condition. In our OstLicht spring auction 2024 we sold no. 0000067.

Laut Paul-Henry van Hasbroeck reservierte Leitz die Seriennummern 0000058–0000069 für diese Prototyp-Objektive, tatsächlich wurden jedoch nur etwa 5 Exemplare fertiggestellt.
