Vintage gelatin silver print 23.7 x 17.7 cm, in very good condition. Photographer's "ANTIOS" signature, title and date in the original negative.
Anton Josef Trčka, known as Antios, portrayed the archaeologist Dr. Julius Spinner in 1925. The sitter's concentrated gaze and contemplative pose are rendered in Trčka's characteristic soft-focus, warm-toned style. The date, the photographer's signature and Spinner's name were artistically incorporated into the negative.

Vintage-Silbergelatineabzug 23,7 x 17,7 cm, in sehr gutem Zustand. Im originalen Negativ signiert "ANTIOS", betitelt und datiert.
Anton Josef Trčka, bekannt als Antios, porträtierte 1925 den Archäologen Dr. Julius Spinner. Der konzentrierte Blick und die nachdenkliche Haltung des Porträtierten werden in Trčkas charakteristischem Stil mit weicher Schärfe und warmen Farbtönen wiedergegeben. Das Datum, die Signatur des Fotografen und Spinners Name wurden kunstvoll in das Negativ integriert.
