Vintage silver print on double-weight semi-matte paper 25.3 x 20.3 cm, in very good condition. Photographer's stamp, publication/archive stamps from 1959, several annotations and newspaper clip on the reverse.

"Could I take a little run?" Steichen asked before he leaped. Photographer Halsman put a small bit of paper at the spot where he wanted Steichen to leap. Steichen ran and jumped three times in succession, Halsman catching the peak of each leap. Then Steichen took off his coat, rolled up his sleeves, and made one more joyful jump.
