The action photography of Rudolf Schwarzkogler is one of the most important achievements of the neo-avant-garde of the 1960s. With these works, which the youngest representative of the Viennese Actionists developed in a period of only fifteen months, he is considered a pioneer of Performance or Body Art, as well as Conceptual Photography or Postmodern Staged Photography. The early date of the impressive print from the third action, which can be determined by the condition of the photographic paper and the stamp of the photographer on the reverse, makes it particularly rare and valuable. Since it was created during the artist's lifetime, it is an important document of his intended aesthetic. Like his first two, Schwarzkogler realised his third action in the flat of Heinz Cibulka, who contributed as a model.

Die Aktionsfotografie von Rudolf Schwarzkogler zählt zu den bedeutendsten Leistungen der Neo-Avantgarde der 1960er Jahre. Mit diesen Arbeiten, die der jüngste Vertreter der Wiener Aktionisten innerhalb von nur fünfzehn Monaten schuf, gilt er als Pionier der Performance- oder Body-Art sowie der Konzeptfotografie oder der postmodernen Inszenierten Fotografie. Das frühe Entstehungsdatum dieses eindrucksvollen Abzuges aus der dritten Aktion, das durch die Beschaffenheit des Fotopapiers und den rückseitigen Fotografenstempel eruierbar ist, macht ihn besonders selten und wertvoll. Da noch zu Lebzeiten des Künstlers entstanden, ist er ein wichtiges Dokument für dessen angestrebte Ästhetik. Wie schon seine ersten beiden Aktionen realisierte Schwarzkogler auch seine dritte in der Wohnung von Heinz Cibulka, der als Akteur fungierte.
