In the Alinari Archive, where Gloeden's glass plates are kept, there are further photographs of this picturesque garden architecture featuring an artificial ruin with imposing columns, whose steps lead down into a pond. The early date of the photograph is corroborated by the publication cited, in which the subject is titled "Before the Bath", otherwise it is also referred to as "Boys in Antique Costumes". Gloeden began using the stamp on the reverse from 1903 onwards, certainly its possible that he stamped earlier prints at that time (due to a law).

Im Alinari-Archiv, wo Gloedens Glassplatten verwahrt werden, gibt es weitere Aufnahmen von dieser malerischen Gartenarchitektur einer künstlichen Ruine mit mächtigen Säulen, deren Treppe in einen Teich führt. Die frühe Datierung der Aufnahme ist durch die zitierte Publikation belegbar, dort wird das Motiv "Vor dem Bade" betitelt, ansonsten auch mit dem Zusatz "Jungen in antikischen Kostümen". Den rückseitigen Stempel nutzte Gloeden ab 1903, wobei er höchstwahrscheinlich auch frühere Prints damit versah (das entsprechende Urhebergesetz wurde 1903 wirksam).
