Original factory prototype from the project 'Handmade Titanium Camera', which was made as a one of a kind model for Sheikh Saud Al-Thani of Qatar in 2002 and the only camera made of massive Titanium. The camera shows some differences from the camera delivered to Qatar. The top plate is engraved with Sheikh Saud's signature, on the front with the 'Leica' logo, instead of an inset dot. While the outer parts of the final version of this camera were in all-titanium, including the body cover, this camera here has a black leather body cover, some black knobs and lever. The camera comes with a solid titanium mount version of the Summilux-M 1.4/50 ASPH of 2004 (from the '50 years of Leica M edition'). This is one of two samples of one of the most sophisticated Leica cameras ever produced, in mint condition.

Originaler Prototyp aus dem Projekt 'Handmade Titanium Camera', die 2002 als Unikat für Scheich Saud Al-Thani aus Katar bestellt und hergestellt wurde. Es ist die einzige Kamera, die jemals aus massiven Titan gebaut wurde. Die Kamera weist noch einige Unterschiede zur an Katar gelieferten Kamera auf. Die Deckkappe ist mit der Unterschrift von Scheich Saud graviert, auf der Vorderseite mit dem 'Leica'-Logo, anstelle eines eingesetzten Punktes. Die Kamera kommt mit einem Summilux-M 1.4/50mm ASPH mit massiver Titanfassung (aus der '50 Jahre Leica M Edition').
